Matt grew up in Austin, Texas and is a third-generation University of Texas at Austin graduate. Since obtaining his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2009, Matt has developed a wide range of experience in civil litigation, bankruptcy, appellate matters, and family law. Comfortable in both state and federal courtrooms, Matt has represented spouses, parents, corporations, creditors and debtors in justice of the peace courts, federal bankruptcy courts, family law courts, the First and Fourteenth Courts of Appeal, and federal courts in the Southern and Western Districts of Texas. Whether arguing to the bench, attending mediation, drafting an appellate brief, or presenting a case to a jury, in his practice Matt never loses sight of the client's goals and will provide detailed, thoughtful counsel to help his clients achieve a just result.
