Ms. Cavers was admitted to the Texas Bar in November 2004.  She graduated from South Texas College of Law Houston in the top 1/3rd of her class.  Ms. Cavers is a certified family law mediator and member of the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association, parenting facilitator and parenting coordinator.

Ms. Cavers’ professional associations include the American Bar Association, State Bar of Texas Family Law Section, Houston Bar Association Family Law Section, and Fort Bend County Family Law Section.  She served the Houston Bar Association as Co-Chair of the Continuing Legal Education Committee and is the Chair-Elect of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section.  Ms. Cavers is an associate in the Burta Rhoads Raborn Family Law Inn of Court, an organization dedicated to professionalism and excellence in family law practice.

Over her career, Ms. Cavers practiced in the areas of civil litigation and health care liability claims.  In civil litigation practice, she represented clients such a Sears and Western Auto.  Ms. Cavers’ clients also include physicians, hospitals, dentists and chiropractors in health care liability claims and complaints to the professional licensing boards.  Nevertheless, her passion is family law.  Each case brings unique challenges, and Ms. Cavers partners with her clients to establish his or her goals of representation and the path to achieving those goals. 

Ms. Cavers is a long-time member of the Texas Bar College, an organization for judges, lawyers, and paralegals to enhance professional skills.
